We’re planning on taking a lot of luggage with us to Ethiopia. And we’re hoping to fill most of that with donations for our agency’s care centers. We’ve heard over and over again from families that have been there that the care our agency provides is absolutely wonderful – that the children and babies are so loved and well cared for! But resources in Ethiopia are limited and we are very excited that we now have the opportunity to help with Holt’s efforts to provide top notch care for these children. Holt also does lots of huminatarian work in Ethiopia. Their work is not about finding children for families, which is very important to us and the primary reason we chose to work with them. If you would like to read more about our agency’s work in Ethiopia, check out the Holt blog.
I’m going to post the most recent list we’ve received from our agency of the needs of the care centers. If you have items that you would like to donate, either new or gently used, we would be so grateful and happy to add them to our collection. Just leave me a comment or send me an e-mail! We are hoping to take two large suitcases full of donations, so space is somewhat limited, but we’ll pack it in as tight as we can.

Congrats on passing court, the nursery is beautiful!
If you have space, I can send: a Baby Bjorn carrier, stacking cups, a roll of fly paper, two almost full bottles of baby powder, a few plastic pants, receiving blankets, and two wooden puzzles – numbers and ABC’s.
That is fantastic! Thanks so much Kim! We have plenty room.
Tell me where to send them. I just went through the girls stuff today and pulled stuff out that they don’t play with. I have a couple baby dolls that they have never even played with that other people have bought them. And I know I have some other stuff that is in like new condition. I wouldn’t send anything but nice stuff. I have a really nice Pottery Barn Kids blanket in light pink that is perfect to have. Let me know if you want any of it.
(I’m sarah k’s sister)
I can supply you with Clotrimazole cream ( they don’t make ointment), Thermometers, Anti fungal creams, and Vitamins for infants/toddlers/older children. ( I am a co-owner of a pharmacy, so I can get the stuff at cost.)
Just let me know how many of these items you want.
And congrats on seeing/getting your baby soon!
