Ethiopia in the News

This article on the food crisis in Ethiopia is in today’s Wall Street Journal. A very interesting look at how increased consumption in one part of the world impacts others.  An excerpt:
Far away in Ethiopia, one-year-old Teshome squirmed on his mother’s lap while they waited in a food-aid line. Baltu Tumebo already had reduced her family [...]

So, how was your Christmas?

Ours was fantastic! I do hope all of you can say the same. We enjoyed some great times with both of our families – including a little ice skating (which is really in no way related to Christmas, but this picture made me laugh so I had to throw it in).  That’s [...]

The 7th Day of Christmas

I’m so annoyed with WordPress – apparently it doesn’t let you embed flash objects.  But, I still think our Elf Yourself video is pretty darn funny.  Especially with Dolly as the star of the show.  Check it out! It’s worth it.

The 6th Day of Christmas

A felt and glitter relic from Christmas past – circa 1985.
